With a 36” x 48” landing surface, the Full Pad offers a full 4" of high-quality cush' for your bouldering enjoyment (1" hard foam and 3" soft foam). A 24" x 15" pocket flap securely carries your gear and keeps what you stuff in the pad from sliding out. When your pad is open for use, our pouch is designed to secure and cover your shoulder straps, making the hike home from a muddy or wet day a bit dryer.
The Full Pad closes securely with simple and clean metal buckles and folds down to 36" x 24" x 8" for hiking. Fully adjustable shoulder straps and a thick 2" hip belt haul loads with ease. Features include a 1050d ballistics shell and 1200d Recycled Cordura landing zone, as well as Long closure straps on the pocket flap that enable another standard size crash (full or simple) pad, Super Simple Pad Half Pad, Briefcase Pad, or Blubber pad to attach and piggy back on your back. If you want to carry even more pads piggy back style you can extend the straps by using our Extender Straps
Compatible with our Deluxe Hip belt for those packing massive loads long distances. The landing zone is fully customized in your choice of background color and accent colors and is made one-of-a-kind from recycled cutting room scraps. MADE IN USA

What is the pocket flap for?
The 24 by 15 inch pocket flap securely carries your gear and keeps what you stuff in the pad from sliding out. When the pad is open, the pouch covers and secures your shoulder straps, which keeps them dry and clean on muddy days.
Can I carry more than one pad with it?
Yes. Long closure straps on the pocket flap let you piggyback another Full or Simple Pad, a Half Pad, Briefcase Pad or Blubber Pad on your back, and our Extender Straps add room for even bigger stacks from your pad library!!! It also works with our Deluxe Hip Belt for heavy carries.
What's the difference between the Full Pad and the Simple Pad?
They're the same 36 by 48 by 4 inch pad with the same foam and fabrics. The Full Pad adds the sewn-on pocket flap for gear storage and strap coverage; the Simple Pad skips it for a cleaner, lighter setup.
Is the Full Pad made in the USA?
Yes. Every Full Pad is sewn in our Central Pennsylvania workshop with a 1050-denier ballistic nylon shell and a 1000-denier recycled Nylon landing zone, in your choice of background and accent colors. Climbing Magazine put it in their Gear Hall of Fame.
